Hello!

Welcome to the April issue of my Studio Letters.

This has been a busy month! I have two kids flying the nest soon… and five others who are still quite needy. It’s always interesting finding time between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to fit everything in. Thank goodness for yoga and bubble baths!

Project News:In addition to my ongoing coaching, I started several new projects this month in collaboration with Ellis Audiobooks: Love and the Divorce Lawyer by Barbara Newhart—a great courtroom mystery with an unexpected romance—and Ferret Run by Scott Freeman, a wildly imaginative sci-fi story with alternate universes, cool technology, evil rabbit scientists, and a saucy, cunning ferret determined to outsmart them.

I am also excited to start a third title with Ellis Audiobooks - more to come next month! You can stay tuned to news about upcoming titles on my instagram page @lbneibaur

Isobel's Song by Daryl Lott debuts this week! It’s a fantastic historical fiction novel about the Texas Revolution and one woman’s impact on a nation at war.

I also finished production on  He Leadeth Me by Janice Cole Hopkins and Because Words Create by Audrey Daric, both of which will be going live this month.

Also, please take a listen to a short sci-fi story by Dustin Grinnell, where you’ll dive—very literally—into the human body.

Industry News:The Audio Publisher’s Association Conference convened last Monday—a great place for education, networking, and keeping up with industry trends.

Also, for new authors—or anyone wanting a great course on moving from newbie to veteran writer—I highly recommend the Algonkian Novel Writing and Editing Program.

Thank you for sharing this journey with me. Wishing you a lovely April and Happy Easter!

Have a wonderful day,
